What if the grandest place
in the world was still not home?
Charlie is a cat with wise gray whiskers and very firm opinions. Georgie is a pug who has never once wagged quietly. They belong to Sabrina, Isabelle, and Derrick, and wherever their family travels, the two of them travel too.
The Plaza. Lincoln Center. The Met, Paris, London, and Tokyo. Every night, once the children are tucked in and the lights go low, Charlie and Georgie slip out to explore. There are pastry towers to admire, velvet curtains to duck behind, and a great deal of trouble to find. And every night, somewhere in all that splendor, they realize the one place they would rather be is curled up beside the family who loves them.
